Consultation-first cutting — we look at your growth patterns, texture and how much time you actually have on a Tuesday morning. Every cut finishes with a wash, treatment and blow-wave, and honest advice on keeping it alive between visits.

Our signature. Hand-painted, lived-in colour designed to grow out soft for 4–6 months — no hard lines, no orange surprises. Includes toner, treatment and styling.

Trials in-salon, wedding-day styling on location across Melbourne's inner north. We book a maximum of one wedding per Saturday so you're never rushed. Trial required for all bridal bookings.

Salt & Honey opened on Sydney Road in 2019 with two chairs and a strong opinion: that colour should be built for how you actually live, not for the photo on the day. We're now a team of four — two colour specialists, two cutters — and we still run on long consultations, honest quotes and colour that earns its grow-out.
Founder and head colourist Rhiannon Bell trained in Melbourne and spent three years on editorial sets before coming back to the chair. The salon is proudly independent, uses low-ammonia colour lines, and recycles foils, colour tubes and hair clippings through Sustainable Salons.
